No system change
Ongoing WMS stays exactly as it is. No migration, no parallel registers and no retraining of the warehouse team.
Integration · Warehouse system

A digital coworker that works directly in Ongoing WMS — creating outbound orders, announcing and registering inbound deliveries, looking up stock levels and answering questions about order status. You do not change systems. The manual steps simply stop happening.
Ongoing WMS is a cloud-based warehouse management system used by third-party logistics providers, e-commerce companies and wholesalers to run picking, packing and stock levels. The system does its job — but around it sits a steady stream of manual handling: orders to enter, inbound deliveries to announce, discrepancies to sort out and customers asking where their goods are.
A digital coworker connects to Ongoing WMS through the system’s open APIs and performs those steps for you. It does not replace the warehouse system and requires no migration. It takes over the data entry and the follow-up.
For a 3PL operation with many goods owners this is especially clear: every new client effectively means another manual flow. A digital coworker can handle several goods owners in parallel, with different rules for each.
Why this integration
Ongoing WMS stays exactly as it is. No migration, no parallel registers and no retraining of the warehouse team.
The coworker creates and updates orders and goods receipts in Ongoing WMS — it does not just read data out. That is where the time is actually saved.
When an order is picked or a delivery is received, the coworker can act on it straight away — confirm to the customer, update the ERP or flag a discrepancy.
You decide which goods owners and which parts of Ongoing WMS the coworker reaches. One answering customer questions does not need the same access as one placing orders.
Capability
These are the flows running today, through Ongoing’s goods owner APIs. If you need something not listed here, we build it around your requirement.
Outbound orders — creates and updates orders from email, PDF or your ERP.
Inbound deliveries — announces incoming goods and reconciles them against what is actually received.
Stock levels — checks available stock per item and location before an order is confirmed.
Item data — looks up and updates item numbers, descriptions, dimensions and weights.
Order status — answers where an order stands, whether it has been picked and which parcel it went with.
Multiple goods owners — keeps clients and their rules apart in a 3PL setup.
The flow
This is what typical warehouse handling looks like when a digital coworker runs it.
Comes in
Digital coworker
Reads the document, matches goods owner and items, checks stock — and escalates to a human when something does not add up.

Who notices the difference
An integration is rarely interesting in itself. This is what it actually changes for the people working against the warehouse every day.
Customer service and inside sales
Questions about where a delivery stands get answered without anyone logging in to look. Orders arriving by email or PDF end up in the warehouse system without being typed in.
Warehouse and 3PL operations
Inbound deliveries are announced on time and discrepancies are caught as they happen rather than at the monthly reconciliation. The warehouse team stops being the ones keying in other people’s paperwork.
Management and IT
Ongoing WMS stays. IT sets up API access once and defines the scope — after that every action is logged and traceable.
Getting started
Setup is a one-off effort. Expect days, not weeks — provided you know which flow you want to start with.
A conversation where you describe the process you handle manually today. We tell you honestly whether it suits a digital coworker, and what it will not handle.
Your administrator enables API access for the goods owners the coworker should work with — no more than that. Credentials are stored encrypted and per account.
We build the flow against your Ongoing WMS setup and test it on real cases from your own day-to-day work.
The coworker first runs with you as reviewer. Once you are comfortable, you let it run on its own.
Security
Access to Ongoing WMS is set up once and stored per customer. Your API credentials are never shared between accounts and are never used outside the actions your digital coworkers are configured to perform.
Every action goes through our job queue — fully logged, auditable and searchable. If something goes wrong you can see exactly what the coworker tried to do and what the warehouse system replied, so the fault can be fixed rather than guessed at.
You can withdraw access, limit which goods owners a coworker may work with or narrow what it may do at any time.
Tell us which flow takes the most time today. We will show you what it looks like with a digital coworker — against your own setup.
